About the Principal  

The Principal of D.A.V. Public School, Sector-14, Gurugram Mrs. Aparna Erry has to her credit an immense reservoir of administrative experience of more than 20 years. An alumna of Lady Shriram College and postgraduate in Economics from the prestigious Delhi School of Economics, she joined DAV Public School, Sector-14, Gurugram as PGT (Economics) in 1999, and gained recognition quite early in her career for displaying exceptional administrative and managerial skills.                            

She has enormous experience in the field of senior school education and has attended numerous workshops and conferences on modern trends in education in India and abroad. She got the opportunity to visit Russia on an educational tour under the Cultural Exchange Programme that enriched her with wide educational experience. She was also deeply involved in the initial implementation of the CCE system and offered her valuable insights in various schools as a Resource Person.

Being a Subject expert in Economics, she has been a vital contributor to CBSE for imperative curriculum inputs. She attended a Programme on Strategic Leadership for school in a changing environment at IIM, Ahmedabad in October 2016, apart from attending numerous conclaves by ICTRC and FICCI. She has been certified “Digital Leader in Education” by International Center for Leadership in Education and EdTechReview.

Due to her vast expertise in managing enormous tasks on her shoulders, time and again she is being entrusted with vital responsibilities by CBSE as Chief Nodal Supervisor, Inspection Committee Member, City Co-ordinator(CTET) and many more. As a member of the Gurugram District Safety Committee, she is vigorously involved in the formulation of fundamental safety policies for schools. Being the Chairperson of GPSC, she strives to foster qualitative changes in education.

She is conferred with ‘REX Karmaveer Education Change Champion Fellowship and Karmaveer Chakra Award‘ instituted by International Confederation of NGOs (iCONGO) in partnership with the UN, also ‘Inspiring Educator’s Award’ by Rocksport and Life Empowerment Award for ‘Principal Leadership for Outstanding Endeavours” by Expressions India in 2019.

With her keen involvement in curriculum development and her firm faith in diligence and optimism as instruments of success, she continues to lead the school towards a brighter tomorrow.
